Chasing this guy down and wasting the best years of your life waiting after something a fortune teller told you is a waste of your life. She told me a bunch of things that has happened but she also told me my father would die within the next 6 months and it's been 5 years and my dad is still very much alive and kicking!

I've kept my guard up towards new friends I've met through that company. It was really polluting my soul. Glad to not be there anymore. and everyone is hyper competitive and freaked out 24/7. Are there other influences in your life that are making you put walls up? Just friendships and don't let anyone get too close. I just left a pretty toxic work environment though, where noone trusts anyone... The other way, is like you.

Ive gone on 5-6 first dates recently and I paid for them all, except one. my date was insistent on splitting the bill and we are still dating. most of my dates did offer. I'm old fashioned so I expect to pay.
