It may subtly have been the opposite. The whole thing is just backwards to me, but the funny thing is I see stuff like this all over the internet in various forms. I could sense in this girl's voice when she called me "sweet," that it wasn't in an attracted way. Or girls being drawn to inconsiderate "douchebags" who give only the slightest concern for them. Guys complain about girls being turned off by their kindness in some respect. And on some level I sort of felt what he was saying to me. My cousin is one of these guys and he has absolutely no trouble getting girls.
