Was he an abuser before the ring went on? To me he seemed like the nicest guy on the face of the planet and to her he probably did in the beginning too. I pulled records on him like I do anyone (not too trustful) and he had 7 counts of assaulting his wife. I'm very glad you brought this up because it may explain why you can't understand how a girl gets caught in abuse. Who knows but it could have been years down the road when kids and marraige were already established.

You understand the figure of speech. I tried to understand her that it is not that pleasent the distance, the 2 hour train ride till here and then going back there and so. And that is how their parents raised them too. My parents put some pressure on me because that is the way I grew. I feel it too and I hoped that my girlfriend would feel it too and understand me. But we talked this, back in the day when I found out about her ideas.
