That said, it's all but impossible to be objective about such things - unless it's 100% consistent, and I've been told I'm anything from 5 to a 10, so... I'm slightly above average in terms of looks - though some claim I look better still, though I really don't.

The best way to do this is to entertain yourself with something else - anything else. Movies, books, old/new hobbies, work, whatever. You have to consciously stop thinking about him.
