The first thing she asked Lena upon coming back was whether I called my family on the New Year’s eve (I did) and whether I asked anything about Anna (I did not). Still, Anna got involved all the way, and after just 6 or 7 weeks of remote romance went to visit her new lover. “Well, let him pretend I don’t exists!” she blurted angrily. Things did not go as well as she originally expected. Again, Lena chose not to let me know about any of this. She spent Christmas and New Year’s holidays with him, but came home depressed.

As for him not liking couples things, I understand why that's frustrating, but consider the contrary: my boyfriend has never flat-out stated that he's not a fan of couples-time. Instead, he goes and feels uncomfortable the entire time.

Most girls don't appreciate a guy hitting on them when they're sweaty, and they definitely won't like it if they sense you have ulterior motives.
