For myself it takes awhile. In the case of my M, the interest hasn't returned at all but I'd say it was a good couple years after our D until I felt 'normal', whatever that is. Some guys aren't phased at all. IME, sure. Typically I was single and not dating for a number of months after a serious emotional attachment ended.

This is the worst kind of cheater as if it could get worse. Trying to gaslight you and justify what she did.

In my defense, (there I go again) I make it a point to be totally PC with him at work and don't act any differently around him compared to my other co-workers. I guess it's me trying to justify the situation because I am a younger woman. If I were a man I would be a lot more concerned with the whole sexual harassment thing as sexist and sad as that statement is. As of now all the guys here are respectful (at least to my face) and know that I am a relatively chummy and cheerful person, so I don't think anybody is aware of what is happening. Also, he has mentioned that he has to be on his best behavior at work because he would never want to disappoint our boss. So I don't think he is shouting it from the rooftops either I appreciate your advice regardless of how crappy it feels to hear.

Beside being a man, I´m not that dumb (or so predictable) and, certainly, I'm not desperate - I don't. I´m Miguel, I have 38 years old and I am Portuguese, but I live and work in Banbury.

Also, you come across like you get cancelled on frequently if you have the need to confirm. The thought is your time is valuable - you don't expect a doctor to call you to make sure you are keeping your appointment right?

if you went up to a *girl* at work and scratched her back, she'd probably report you for harrassment. tread carefully. don't date co-workers. it's generally a bad idea. the girl who scratched your back was acting inappropriately.

So many mixed opinions, I think I'll just let it flow naturally.
