She hasn't tried to stop them from hanging out, hasn't complained or anything, she obviously WANTS to try to trust him and let him have his time, but she simply cannot help it that she feels uncomfortable about this. I think she's being astonishingly reasonable about this whole situation. It's not like she's being controlling or unreasonable. She calls him up and tries to be casual just to ease her anxiety.
