She is surprised, however, that we lasted for so long..but she found herself unsatisfied in the romance department around 1 1/2 to 2 years into our nearly 3 year relationship. She has admitted that she always manages to find a reason to end a relationship around 6 months to a year, she starts to get that itch for a new romance since the one she's in invariably wanes in its ability to satisfy her romantically. I have never cheated on or abused her. She has vowed not to ever be like her mom, who stayed "trapped" in a marriage with an abusive man (here you see the reason for the commitment issues). Her father, however, was abusive when she was growing up, and she has been with several men who have cheated on her.

Texting everyday (7-10 per day). signs are good right? Have been a a few dates, going out again tonight, talked on the phone for over 2 hours last night. She even initiates and calls me!

So, perhaps if you gave a guy a chance to know you weren't going to just discard him (which you seem to be doing) then he might open up emotionally. I am very in touch with some of my emotions, such as tearing up at certain moving/emotional things in dramas etc. But interpersonally, I keep everyone at arms length emotionally because I don't trust that I wouldn't just be emotionally hurt again for the umpteenth time.

I'm kind of quiet and shy, but can open up to people I know well. If you would like to know more about me, feel free to. I recently graduated from college out of state and moved back to Albuquerque.
