There's no mystery why the conversation stopped, you can cover so much more ground talking versus texting, and you can put up tone in the voice to let you know where they are coming from, etc. Get in the habit of talking on the phone, it's just so much better. Texting is such a limited way to communicate with a mate. Aside from "be there 5 minutes late" or some other simple message, texting should not be the primary means of communication!
