maybe the best thing to do is to tell him you want a break for a while and be honest in telling him that you are bored with things and that you dont want pressure to be made to stay, you just need time to think; and if you can be with him he must make more of an effort, and if youve had time to think and you;d rather spread your wings then be clear to him your decision is on that youve thought about and it is time to go.

It is just that so much of this seems pretty narrow minded, I guess. I know my friends say they are coming from a place of concern for me but..... By The Way I am 30 years old. Also my longtime friends wife who brought this up to my sister is like best friends with my ex girlfriend and has a little bit of a history of mettling with things which really makes me question her intentions; Because I know she was probably on the phone with my Ex immediately after giving her the whole low down. That is some great advice and have listened to my parents and sister without being defensive and I just have to cross that bridge with my friends.

I guess I'm just more conscious of why he hasn't gotten back to me because I quit my job last week and I have more free time on my hands. I try to see things from his point of view. When I was working sometimes work gets in the way and I can't be by my phone until 6 hours later.
