He is a very sensitive quiet kind of guy, and she was a very aggressive kind of girl. (we were not exclusive at this point, and i had hooked up with other guys too, so at the time -it didn't phase me). He had dated his ex for about 3 years, until she broke his heart and basically cheated on him. In fact, they had still been talking and he even slept with her when we had already began talking. I'm so relieved to know that I am not the only feeling this way. We met a year later, and it really seemed like he was still in love with her. I have been with my boyfriend over 2 years.
